New Life Ministries was planning to print and ship out 335,000 Ukrainian Bibles this year, and we have successfully finished printing, binding, and shipping out all the Bibles on September 12th.
Including the Bibles shipped in 2022, a total of 470,000 Ukrainian Bibles have been shipped.
This project would not have been possible without your prayers and support. So, we would like to express our deepest gratitude.
The shipped Bibles will be delivered to Ukraine and Norway for distribution by our mission partners, Ukrainian Bible Society and New Life Ministries Norway.
In addition to Ukrainian Bibles, 81,000 copies of the Ukrainian Manga Messiah, 19,000 copies of the Russian Manga Messiah, and 17,000 copies of the Polish Manga Messiah were also shipped this time.
The manga will be sent to Ukraine, Norway, and Moldova, where they will be used by Mission Eurasia and New Life Ministries Norway, along with other mission partners.
The following is the testimony of Pastor Rychenets, Vice President of Ukraine Bible Society, shared at the Norway conference in August.
Many Ukrainians don’t even have a Bible and even if they have one, they could live their whole life without ever opening it. But when the war started, they began seeking Bibles, as if they were freshly baked bread – Bibles ran out so quickly. If you go to the eastern part of Ukraine, you will not find a single soldier who does not believe in God. They don’t just ask for weapons – they look for spiritual things as well.
They ask, “Can I have my own Bible?” “ Will you pray for me?” “ Can you have the Lord’s communion?”
One day, I met an old soldier. Through the crowd, he spotted me wearing a chaplain’s cloth. He approached me and said, “I’ve never been to a church in my entire life, but will you listen to my story?”
One after another, he started to confess his sins and said, “There’s no way God could forgive me.” So I told him the Gospel and promised to meet him again at the same place the next day with a Bible. I had Bibles in a van, but they had all run out already that day.
The next day, this old soldier did not show up. I was told that in the early morning, his troop went to the battlefield and nobody came back.
He reminded me of that man next to Jesus on the cross. When Jesus was crucified, one of the robbers was asking in the very last moment of his life for forgiveness. I strongly believe that he is forgiven by God and we can freely encourage his family that he did really important work for Ukraine, and that God received him into His loving arms.
Please continue to remember and pray for safe distribution and safe transportation of the Bibles and Mangas sent to Ukrainian Bible Aid, and that each one will be used for His glory.

Each one of us may be small and powerless, but when we are united in the Lord, His great work is accomplished.

New Life Ministries is a non-denominational Christian ministry committed to serving the Lord by printing and sending Bibles and Gospel literature to Japan and the rest of the world, in each people group’s heart language.
Beginning in 1954, under the name New Life League, the ministry reached out to children, provided Gospel literature, and did evangelism through radio broadcast.
Later on, the work shifted more to the collection and printing of Gospel literature as the main focus.
Throughout history, there has always been a call for the supply of Bibles, and New Life Ministries has continued to do all that it can to meet the demand. Our purpose is to see Japan changed for Jesus, and that the whole world be filled with His precious Word.
