We are grateful that we are able to print many Bibles in 2023.
We would like to give you a report on the Bibles we have printed and Bibles that are scheduled to be printed.
*Please understand that there may be some repeats from previous reports.
In 2022, at New Life Ministries, we have printed and delivered 135,000 Ukrainian Bibles (25,000 New Testament, 110,000 Old Testament). Currently, we are printing an additional 335,000 copies of Ukrainian Bible according to the needs.
The details are as follows:
-105,000 A5 size Bible (Contemporary translation)
-40,000 B6 small size Bible (Traditional translation, reprint)
-60,000 A6 size Military personnel Bible (camouflage pattern)
-130,000 A5 size New Testament Bible
The Ukrainian Bible Society and New Life Ministries Norway will provide them within Ukraine and the surrounding countries.
Already 100,000 copies of the above have been sent. During June, an additional 175,000 copies will be delivered, then in August, the remaining 60,000 copies are scheduled to be delivered. Please pray for the printing and delivery.
As for these additional Ukrainian Bibles, theUkrainian Bible Society and New Life Ministries Norway are mainly responsible for the funding. However, the funding for the first 110,000 printed Bible (about 26 million yen) has not yet been met. Please pray for this ministry.

We have finished printing and sending out the Bibles in the Ndebele language used in Zimbabwe and Oromo Bibles for Ethiopia. Thank you very much for your prayer. They will be distributed by our mission partner active in Africa.
In February 42,500 copies Burmese Bibles were printed and sent to SE Asia, and the remaining 42,500 copies were also printed and sent recently. We are grateful for your prayers. Because of the ongoing civil conflict, the severe situation continues in Myanmar, and these will be distributed by our mission partner.
As we have reported in this article, we have printed 60,000 Spanish PDT Bibles, and sent them along with Manga to the Caribbean Islands. Thank you for praying.
PDT Bibles are published with simple vocabular so many can understand and read them. This will be used for the project in the Caribbean Islands along with Manga by our mission partner. Please read this article for details.
2,000 Akha Hymnals were printed and delivered in June. These will be used by mission partners in Thailand (Missionary Teruaki Hirayama who gave us a mission report via zoom).
We have printed many Bibles in this language and this year we will print in several batches to arrive by the end of the year. Sgaw Karen is the language used by a minority people group living in Myanmar and Thailand. The Bible distribution will be done by our mission partners who are active in Myanmar and Thailand.
We are grateful that we can continue to be involved in so many Bible printings.
The increasing cost of fuels and materials, the facility refurbishment is still our prayer request. Please continue to pray that we can be protected from printer trouble so we can continue this ministry.
New Life Ministries is a non-denominational Christian ministry committed to serving the Lord by printing and sending Bibles and Gospel literature to Japan and the rest of the world, in each people group’s heart language.
Beginning in 1954, under the name New Life League, the ministry reached out to children, provided Gospel literature, and did evangelism through radio broadcast.
Later on, the work shifted more to the collection and printing of Gospel literature as the main focus.
Throughout history, there has always been a call for the supply of Bibles, and New Life Ministries has continued to do all that it can to meet the demand. Our purpose is to see Japan changed for Jesus, and that the whole world be filled with His precious Word.
