A total of 135,000 Ukrainian Bibles were printed by New Life Ministries between last February and this year, and 335,000 are still being produced.
The printed Ukrainian Bibles have been sent via Germany, many of them to the Ukrainian Bible Society for distribution, and some to Norway, where they are being distributed with relief supplies by New Life Ministries Norway, a sister organization of New Life Ministries.
We reported that New Life Ministries Norway staff visited Lviv, Ukraine at the end of August last year to deliver relief supplies and Bibles. Since then, we have visited Ukraine several times, first in October and then at the end of January this year, to do the same (The relief supplies, other than Bibles, were collected from local churches in Norway and donations from supporters).
And just recently, from May 7 to 11, we visited Lviv, Ukraine again to deliver Bibles and relief supplies.
On this visit, a team of five drove to Ukraine in three cars and a large trailer with a load of medical equipment, diapers, food, batteries and electrical power for wheelchairs, clothes, vitamins, and snacks for children, in addition to Bibles printed by the New Life Ministries.
After a 15-hour car trip through Germany and Poland, they arrived in Lviv, Ukraine, and were able to safely deliver the supplies.
The supplies will be delivered to churches and hospitals in Lviv, and from there to the local people.

In response to an urgent request from the Ukrainian Bible Society, New Life Ministries has printed a number of Ukrainian-language Bibles over the past two years.
Last May we printed 25,000 Ukrainian New Testament Bibles, at the end of the year we printed 110,000 Bibles, and this year we are in the process of printing another 335,000 Ukrainian Bibles and New Testaments.
Of these, 230,000 are scheduled for shipment this month.
Funds for 20,000 of these Ukrainian New Testaments have already been met through your generous support. For the 335,000 Bibles printed this year, the Ukrainian Bible Society and New Life Ministries Norway will be primarily responsible for fundraising.
However, the funds for the 110,000 Bibles printed last year have not yet been met. Of the 110,000 books, the Ukrainian Bible Society are responsible for 50,000, and New Life Ministries Norway and New Life Ministries together are responsible for the 60,000. Of the approximately 26 million yen in funds needed for these 60,000 books, 21 million yen has yet to be met (as of the end of April).
